Four Generations of our TURKs

Great-grandfather TURK arrived at NY from Bremen aboard the ship EMS on 19 April 1887 – an autochon Pole submerged by the German culture in the Polish/German border region (Gorzów Wielkopolski), whose name may have derived from the Polish town of TUREK and Germanized into variations of TÜRK.
